 The Atlanta-Fulton County Emergency Management Agency offers training for the public in Family Disaster Preparedness and Homeland Security. If you would like to schedule someone to speak to your group or organization, please contact AFCEMA at 404.730.5600.
Training for government agencies is done on an on-going basis, and when possible, as requested. Several different types of training are offered. Some classes are scheduled on a regular basis such as:
- Emergency Coordinator Training - For those that will be representing their agency in the EOC during activations
- MMST Training - For members of the Metropolitan Medical Strike Team
- LEPC Training - For members of the Local Emergency Planning Committee
Other training is offered as needed, such as Storm Spotter Training from the National Weather Service.
The training calendar will be updated as classes are scheduled or become available.
